How does this website work?

First you will be asked to create your own political poster and slogan, which you can then share with your friends and family. This poster will then be used by WWF, along with thousands of others, to show the G8 that the world wants them to take real action.

Once you have created your poster, you will join the debate and ‘Face the G8’. Here you will be presented with a range of policy options on issues such as energy security and the global economic crisis, just like those that the real G8 leaders will face. Make the right decisions and help lead the world to a clean energy future or choose badly and see the impacts of climate change being felt around the world.

What kind of picture can I add?

Please add a picture of yourself only. This will be used to create a unique poster showing that you're committed to action on climate change, and will be used by WWF in the run up to the G8 meeting. Your face will also be added as a character in the game itself.

What will happen to my photo?

Once you have uploaded your photo you will be able to send it to your friends and family. It will also be displayed on the photo sharing website, Flickr, so people around the world can see your creation!

We will then use all the posters collected to show the G8 that we are all watching for the outcome of the meeting. You'll be able to find updates from the meeting, including seeing your photos in action, on this website.

What format should my picture be?

Images can be up to 1MB in size and in the following formats: .jpg, .gif, .png

If your image is too large then why not try resizing it using a tool like http://www.resizeyourimage.com/. If you scan a hard copy photo into your computer, please make sure you crop the image first.
